Mr. Freeman founded Freeman Planning & Design, Inc. in 1976 as a consulting firm. Subsequently he formed Freeman Construction Corporation in 1990 and Freeman Development Corporation in 1991 for the purpose of providing all necessary expertise for development of real estate. Combined, the three companies perform all aspects of real estate development including real estate acquisition, zoning, site planning, architectural, general construction, financing, equity investments and property management.
Through the various companies Mr. Freeman has been involved in the development and ownership of over nineteen hundred (1,900) apartments throughout Indiana, Illinois and Ohio. He has also been involved in commercial and single-family development.
From 1970 to 1976, Mr. Freeman worked in the public sector for the city of Richmond as Director of City Planning, Redevelopment and Community Development.
Mr. Freeman graduated from Ball State University in 1970 with Bachelor of Science degrees in Urban Planning and Economics.
